Anthony “AJ-47” Jackson is a coach, competitor, and driving force in UK breaking. For over two decades he’s travelled the world battling against the best of the best, first as a long-standing member of Soul Mavericks, the UK’s most decorated breaking crew, and now as co-founder of Primal Instincts — one of the most dominant crews in the country, already making waves on the international stage and fresh off a semi-final finish at the World Breaking Championship.
Alongside his competitive career, AJ owns Adrenalin Dance, a school for ages 5–15 covering Breaking, Contemporary, Creative Dance, Acro, and Street Styles. In 2025, he launched the London Breaking Academy, a dedicated training ground for the next generation of breakers.
AJ’s mission is clear: to push the art of breaking forward while inspiring and coaching young dancers to chase their potential — on stage, in battles, and in life.
