 Part of the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) Programme
FREE to children and young people who live or go to school in Barking and Dagenham and are eligible for benefit-related free school meals. To find out if you are eligible and to provide supporting evidence when booking a place on the summer camp, read below for more details.

Frames & Footwork offers young people an exciting summer experience where the worlds of dance and photography come together.

Through engaging, hands-on workshops, participants will explore the art of storytelling, whether through a striking photograph or expressive choreography.

This programme is about more than just learning new skills; it’s a celebration of self-expression, collaboration, and creativity in every step and snapshot.

Includes FREE LUNCH and a fun trip out on the Friday.

HOW TO BOOK

To book your child's place on the Summer 2025 HAF Creative Camp, please click the link below to complete the Booking & Parent/Guardian Consent Form. This MUST BE COMPLETED AND SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN ON BEHALF OF THE YOUNG PERSON. 

TO RECEIVE A FREE PLACE you must meet the following 3 criteria.

1) The young person must attend a school in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham 

2) The child attending must be in receipt of benefit-related free school meals (this does NOT include universal free school meals) 

3) You'll need to provide ONE supporting document dated within the last 12 months that proves your eligibility for benefit-related free school meals. This can be uploaded to the booking form. See below for the list of supporting documents we can accept as proof of eligibility.

Please check your eligibility for benefit-related free school meals in before you book. You will need to upload supporting evidence to the booking form.

DO YOU RECEIVE BENEFIT-RELATED FREE SCHOOL MEALS?

To find out if you are eligible for BENEFIT-RELATED free school meals you can use the Free School Meal Eligibility Checker website at https://pps.lgfl.org.uk

To receive a free place, you will need to provide us ONE document to prove you are eligible for benefit-related free school meals. It must be dated within the last 12 months and can be uploaded to the booking and consent form.

The easiest way to show us that you are eligible for benefit-related school meals is by uploading one of the following to your booking form:

  • A letter from your local council stating that your child receives benefits-related free school meals (this does not include Universal free school meals)

  • A letter from your child's school stating that your child receives benefits-related free school meals (this does not include Universal free school meals)

  • Screenshot from the Free School Meal Eligibility Checker

We will also accept a screenshot or document that proves you receive one of the following benefits. (Your child may be eligible for free school meals if you are in receipt of any of the following benefits):

  • Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018, your household earnt income MUST be less than £7,400 a year. This is earnings after tax and not including any benefits you get.

  • Child Tax Credit - provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190

  • Income Support

  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance

  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance

  • Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

  • The guaranteed element of Pension Credit

  • Working Tax Credit run-on (paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)
